Summary of Position:

We are looking for someone motivated to manage all PR and Media Relations. This position will report to the Director of Production and will work closely with other Marketing team members to implement marketing communications and public relations campaigns. The position will be responsible for providing internal and external marketing communications project management and serve as liaison between corporate marketing, sales and technical teams, and staff. Primary tasks will include: write, edit, and develop original content for marketing and PR needs; project managing marketing materials and project proposals, presentations, and other sales support materials; co-leading PR efforts and developing external relationships with media contacts; maintaining relationships with affiliate organizations, vendors, and other key contacts; and tracking the success of marketing endeavors.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop, and coordinate PR opportunities with appropriate media
  • Work with internal staff to develop, copywrite, and edit editorial stories and interviews
  • Project manage all marketing collateral development including proposals, and PR efforts, including developing timelines, gathering and crafting content, and submissions
  • Lead copywriting and editing on sales proposals, resumes, presentations and other sales support materials
  • Assist with development of marketing and public relations plans based on marketing intelligence
  • Manage and maintain relationships with external media, vendors, and suppliers
  • Act as professional company representative at industry events and functions
  • Analyze and report on effectiveness of marketing and PR activities

Skills and Qualifications:

Minimum of four years of marketing and PR experience, including the development and implementation of marketing programs and materials within a sales-driven organization, Strong writing and editorial skills, A clear work history of working in a dynamic team environment including the ability to contribute to joint development projects as well as the ability to complete effective marketing projects individually, An understanding of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and database systems as they relate to storing, tracking, retrieving, and analyzing marketing data, Self-motivated, highly organized, and strong communications skills, Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Marketing, or Advertising or related field, Marketing experience in a channel sales environment and an understanding of the Architectural, Engineering and Construction industries, Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills; ability to multi-task, prioritize work based on deadlines and solve problems, Strong writing, research, editing and proofreading skills, Exhibit strong organizational skills and attention to detail, Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, Strong interpersonal and customer service skills; ability to partner and work in a positive manner with individuals inside and outside of the company, Ability to take initiative and be a team player.
